Eleanor Mongey – Oxford Circus WC1

Eleanor Mongey is a British Psychoanalytic Council–registered psychoanalytic psychotherapist who works with patients in person up to four times a week. She completed her clinical training at the London Centre for Psychotherapy before qualifying with the British Psychotherapy Foundation (BPF).

In addition to her private practice, Eleanor Mongey lectures on psychotherapy training programmes and sits on the BPF Ethics and Professional Standards Committee. She also completed a four-year term on the BPF Board of Trustees, where she played an active role in organisational strategy and governance. Earlier in her career she worked in higher education management. 

 

Eleanor is based in central London WC1, a few minutes from Oxford Circus, Tottenham Court Road, Goodge Street and Bond Street tube stations on the Central, Bakerloo, Victoria and Northern lines and accessible on a range of bus routes.  There is no parking in the area.  The consulting room is on the second floor, accessible by a flight of stairs only.

Psychoanalytic psychotherapy provides a safe space to think about troubling emotional problems with a therapist who will not judge but listens to what you are saying, and perhaps what you are not saying, to understand the causes of present distress.

It is not a quick fix but, at best, offers the possibility of long term changes in the way you view yourself and the world around you.
